Schools Make Music is an annual event to celebrate music happening daily across the city in our schools and educational establishments which will showcase the very best examples of music-making. The concert will offer a wonderful opportunity to show the excellent work taking place in schools and could include excerpts from in-house productions, choirs, instrumentalists, bands and vocalists. We might also have the capacity to show film excerpts as part of the overall programme. We are also keen to use the event to highlight any cross-discipline activity especially where you might have dancers, singers or other performers working with other students providing live music backing.

At this stage we have allowed for each primary/junior schools to have up to an 8 minute slot and secondary schools to have up to a 15 minute slot. However, this will be subject to the number of final submissions and the Music Hub team will liaise with the school over the final running order of the programme in order to provide a balanced overall show.

Wednesday 20th March at the Cresset in Bretton Centre.
